What I tell patients getting pelvic RT:
-Males: risk of infertility 10-20%, surgery can cause erectile dysfunction. Sperm bank if ? kids. Do before RT & chemo.
-Females (pre-meno): risk of infertility is ~100%. Unfortunately egg harvesting/embryo prep more involved.
